The Role of Locals in Implementing Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Sustainable Development Goals, 2015-2030

The 10th Annual Global Water Alliance Conference was held in Kolkata, India in the first week of January 2017. The theme was “The Role of Locals in Implementing Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Sustainable Development Goals, 2015-2030” with a focus on local Kolkata issues. Presenters spoke about the advancements made in WASH access in school, arsenic removal and filtrations, and many other important topics affecting not just Kolkata, but impoverished communities around the world. Take a look at the work being done to bring about a better quality of life for people around the world.
